Tantric Pilgrimage a spiritual journeys to Tamil Nadu, which a South of India state. In the change world of Modernization there is no real India any more than there is a real USA nor Australia.
Tamil Nadu is a Spiritual and Cultural place that is relatively unruffled by invasions that swept through and transformed the north of India, the south is the repository of the Dravidian culture that underlies the Indian reality. You can also experience traditional Tamil Hindu culture as this region had remained a center of Pallavan culture long before the British went to India.
Tamil Nadu is bounded by Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka in the north and Kerala in the west, Tamil Nadu is a picturesque land known for its beauty and Temples from the teachings of Tantra. The Tour will start at our Mother Center about an hour from Madurai. From Madurai we will travel to the southernmost tip of India, Kanya Kumari, where the virgin Mother Kanya Kumari. resides.
Chennai is the largest city in South India and the fourth largest city in the country. To come to our center one has to fly to Chennai, the take a domestic flight to Madurai were you will be met, and driven to our center which is about an hour away. Chennai is located on the Coromandel Coast. The city reminds you of British era with its various cathedrals, buildings in Indo-Saracenic style of architecture, wide tree lined avenues. You can also experience traditional Tamil Hindu culture as this region had remained a center of Pallavan culture long before the British came here.
The People
Tamil, the official state language, and English is learned at school but seldom used but understood. The main religions in the state are Hinduism, Christianity, Islam, and Jainism. Although Tamil Nadu is one of the most urbanized states of India, it is still a rural land; agriculture is the mainstay of life for about three-quarters of the rural population. Tamil Nadu is rich in handicrafts; notable among them are handloomed silk, metal icons, leather work, hand-painted fabric using natural dyes, brass, bronze, and copper wares, and carved wood.Culture
Bharata-natyam, one of India's major classical dance forms, and Karnatic music are both widely practiced. Painting and sculpture in stone and bronze.
Climate
The climate is essentially tropical. The temperature in summer is not over 43º C and in winter does not falls below 18º C.
